Best way to start 2009...Temple trip!

January 17, 2009
A temple trip I will remember for awhile....we got to the temple 5 minutes short of time for the 9:40am session so everyone started doing other temple work while waiting for the 10:30am session. I was walking off the long ride in the back of the chapel when the room got fuller and fuller....we almost didn't get everyone in the session as it filled up quick. The room holds 54 people. The cool thing is by this point we have done between 50-55 endowments. To look around the room and see that many people and think this is how many souls we have helped...that was amazing to think about!

Christmas FHE at the Stones home

Bro and Sis Stone (Keith and Sue) from Belgrade 1st ward gave the singles a special gift, a place to get family photos taken and to celebrate the spirit of Christmas.

One of our fun Family Home Evening nights in Three Forks

These images are off my cell phone so the quality
is not as good as I usually get from my nice camera but they are still very good.

This family home evening lesson was on humor, thus the
green hat to tell who was "expressing" there funny story.

The kids loved this lesson as they could be silly and everyone "wanted" them to be! :)

We enjoyed having the missionaries with us when they have been able to.

Hi my name is Tami, currently I will be running the blog for the Bozeman Stake Singles and I'm also the Belgrade 1st ward rep...so I think it's important you know a little about me...I'm a single mom with five children.
Three think they are grown 23, 21 and 19 and two are still trying 17 and 14. My youngest two kids and I moved to Montana in January 2008, I work at the Bozeman airport as a customer service agent for Frontier.
While living in West Valley City Utah (a suberb of Salt Lake City) I was blessed to have a wonderful Stake President who took my ideas for the singles and saw the need in the stake members to help create a West Valley 9 Stake Singles program...I helped start it but due to life was not able to continue it...when I was able to join back into the program it had greatly expanded to 12 Stakes that participated in the program and a large following.
Within a few months of moving here I was invited to attend a wonderful seminar presented by Wendy Despain. I very much enjoyed the seminar but was very sad that few people were there to enjoy the experience with me.
As time has gone on I was called to be the Belgrade 1st ward rep and all of us as a leadership have crossed some big obstacles and our program is expanding thanks to everyone's effort!
We now are able to hold Family Home Evening each Monday night at the Belgrade 1st ward building, we have a temple trip each month, an activity day and our amazing seminar nights are still in full swing.

To help you see what we have accomplished I've had the oppertunity to take a few photos they are below. Do to the nature of a Seminar and the desire to keep in spiritual I don't have any photographs of them but this last year we had as speakers: Our Stake Pres David Heap, the Temple Pres and Sister Wilkes before their release and we enjoyed Pre and Sister DeBell's slid show of their trip to Iseral...as well as several other wonderful speakers. Windy Despain does an amazing job finding some exceptional speakers...I could never do that...

Here are a few pictures from the past year so you can see what we have enjoyed.

(This is the first time I've ever created a blog so please be patient while I learn. Thanks TB)

Ennis Lake water skiing!

June 14, 2008...The weekend was father's day weekend and we'd just gone through a lot of rainstorms...what a mess...but gratefully the weather cleared up and the day was an amazing one it was bright and beauty and the lake was just right, cold but good for boating. We did have some issues as Matt Prices boat died but thankfully not until after all the kids had many trips and the older women had there rides! Thanks Matt for all you did to make the kids happy! It was the first time boating for my kids and myself, a day I will never forget!

Temple trips: We started on July 19th starting to offer to those singles wanting to attend the temple rides there. Our first trip took us to the Rexberg temple but all the rest have been in Billings. As you will notice our numbers are increasing.
